[There it was again. Sharp but in the most offensive way possible, and only toeing the line of observation with hesitation. His reply takes a few moments, but even after that time for thinking, it comes back as another dodge.]
Hmm? Could it be that it bothers you not to see my handsome face?
don't push it, red. maybe i just want him to quit being an obnoxious little prick and get him to be NOT invisible so i can smack him upside the goddamn head. nothing more, nothing less.
Yeah, well that change would have to be made with yourself, not him. You think he enjoys going around with people unable to see him? There's a reason Jean was freaking out.
[.....Somehow, she figured as much. Normally, she'd make a comment, but...she figures she owes Zelos. As bamboozling and irksome as he is, he has helped her.
Even after she tried to kill him. He should've cut ties with her right then and there; but he did not.
Time to return the favor. Maybe he'd let her be after this?]
soooooo
...do you have an IDEA of what you're representing? who'd you switch with, anyhow? i know jack had an invisible buddy, but i never got their name.
[Great. He has no idea where to start from this, but he starts taking his steps back closer to her. If they were going to be talking, he might as well hang around where he could see her reactions face to face. Now that his sight wasn't quite so advanced...]
Uhhh I don't know his name was North or something? He said something to me about wonder but that's all I caught.
[Minatsuki huffs, looking off to the side. Of course this was going to be easier said than done. Everything was like that when it came to her involvements with Zelos. The only break was that he wasn't pissed off at her (yet, because she's come to notice he's surprisingly touchy for a guy who seems so carefree and lackadaisical.), and that they weren't in the middle of battle.
Wonder, though...come to think of it, she'd been...vaguely awestruck when Jack had created that butterfly...]
you're bound to have new powers, right?
do something with them. maybe that's what he meant.
you gotta get people to notice you. that's what spirits, like, apparently do. that's what i was told.
[She doesn't think he quite knows how much he's killing her here.]
how the fuck am i supposed to know?
just think of something. like, 'i wanna move that vase' or 'lemme knock that chair over.' simple shit like that. it's how i first learned to control whip wing---i'd just tell myself i wanna cut stuff down or grab onto something to keep it from going haywire.
[He sighs. Because it won't be heard, as far as he knows, and because this is frustrating beyond belief. If he's stuck this way, maybe he doesn't want to be seen! Messing around with some other guy's powers isn't exactly his idea of fun, either...
But he does try. It's a few minutes of silence on Minatsuki's end of things as Zelos tries his best to walk around and think and do whatever might be able to happen...But nothing! He doesn't understand this at all.
It didn't exactly come with a guidebook.]
Nothing. I'm so not happy with what this is doing to my complexion though.
[Minatsuki groans and slaps her head when...absolutely nothing happens. While she can't come down too hard on the guy, and perhaps she should've given him a little more to go on, this is still...exasperating.
Primarily because they're both trying and nothing is coming of it.]
well, don't force it, either. just...try to relax, i guess. like...just try to do the first thing that comes to mind.
but what the fuck would this do to your complexion? god, zelos, don't tell me you're BLUSHING outta embarrassment. that's a pretty damn awkward visual...
Are you kidding? Do I seem like the kinda guy who blushes?
[No, he doesn't. His cheeks are definitely rosy, but it's not blush... He's going to add more, but suddenly Minatsuki may find her new hairpin floating out of her grip and spinning in air.
Nothing too erratic-- It looks animated, like it's dancing in place before it soars towards Minatsuki's door.]
HELL no but i've already seen you do a ton of shit i wouldn't expect you to do so
[Minatsuki nearly drops her watch the moment she feels her hairpin slowly slide out of her grip, only to watch it twirl about in a strange jig before it zooms past her.
Haphazardly, she clutches onto the watch as she gapes, her fingers squeezing against the touchscreen.]
sfghjklasd
[Thereafter, having collected herself somewhat, she hurriedly types out (more coherently this time)]
the fuck?!?! what, you got goddamn TELEKINESIS now?!?!?
Leave her life. Leave her life right now before her blood pressure skyrockets. Sometimes, dealing with him is like eating about three Big Macs in one sitting. Consecutively. Minatsuki growls as she types.]
really? fucking REALLY? so i can look like a motherfucking nutjob to other people? no thanks
and OBVIOUSLY YOU'RE the one who made it MOVE
so you're CONTROLLING it genius!
[But then it hits her, and she blinks. She remembers Murasa's words.
It's not that hard to get people's attention.
Minatsuki slowly looks up from her watch.
And there he is.
She immediately grunts, giving him a flat look.]
You know, Zelos, it's a goddamn wonder how no one who at least tolerates your ass hasn't gone and snapped yet.
[He's only halfway through typing a response when Minatsuki notices him.
What, like you don't look like one alre
That goes unsent when she speaks and he realizes that she's looking right at him. There's a surprised blink and he lowers his watch, ducking his head a bit to raise his hand in a brief wave.]
Hmm? Is it just me or can you suddenly see my handsome face?
[There's a short pause as Minatsuki realizes something else.
As trying as his personality can get, and as untrustworthy as he is (or seems to be; she can't ever figure him out, but she's not much better in that regard.)----Zelos Wilder is not a bad person. There's too much in the way of unknowns and inconsistencies within his character to call him a good person, but he's far from evil.
She's still inclined to keep him at arm's length, but she figures---she shouldn't leave him out of the loop entirely. He was friendly with a lot of her, ah, fffffrrrrrriends; and if she couldn't keep them in line, someone else could in her place.
If anything, Zelos was reliable. For both good things and bad things.]
You're pushing it. But, yeah, I can see you now. Tell you what---
[---And it's like some kind of checkpoint has been crossed. Minatsuki rolls her eyes, and strides up to him, reaching her hand up...]
text;
That definitely wasn't like him. He seemed more like a video guy, if the whole Jean birthday announcement was anything to go by.
....Come to think of it, hadn't Jean...
Didn't Jack...
Minatsuki exhales. She switches over to text as well.]
i just find it pretty goddamn WEIRD that you didn't just give these to me in person.
i know we have our differences and shit but that hasn't stopped you before.
text;
Hmm? Could it be that it bothers you not to see my handsome face?

Time to pull out the big guns, then.]
you wish. it just bothers me that you're not being a creeper to my FACE, zelos.
let's just say i'm sure jean's just THRILLED to be in the same boat.
no subject
You've been talking to Jean?
Do you even know just what sort of boat he is in?
no subject
the idiot was fucking freaking the hell out. was kinda HARD to ignore it.
turns out, he's gone all invisible and shit.
y'know. like your pal jack.

so i gotta believe or whatever, right?
[W e l p any hope of normalcy in her life has been shot, so...why not go the distance?]
HE seems to make the most of it, but i can see why jean was throwing a hissyfit.
you're probably not too far away, are you? let's test this theory, then. so...what? do i close my eyes and count to 10?
no subject
The problem is even I don't believe in whatever I seem to be representing here. You've got me on that one.
